As part of the tasks for an academic, I have also involved in doing research works and I had received several accolades and awards related to my research as follows:

1. Gold Medal in 56th Belgian and International Trade Fair for Technological Innovation, EUREKA 2007 for the invention of Biodiesel Production From Rubber Seed: In-situ Transesterification

2. Silver Medal in 56th Belgian and International Trade Fair for Technological Innovation, EUREKA 2007 for the invention of Novel Route of Bio-alcohol Production from Palm-based Materials

3. Most Promising Junior Researcher Award during UTP Quality Day 2008

4. Most Outstanding Research Team Award during UTP Quality Day 2008

5. Bronze Medal in Malaysian Technology Expo 2009 (MTE 2009) fro the invention of Correfied Briquette: The Production of Sustainable Solid Fuel from Torrefied Spent Coffee

6. Awarded Commonwealth Scholarship to pursue doctorate study at Imperial College London. Total of 4 recipients (2 PhD & 2 MSc) from Malaysia for year 2009.

7. Education for Chemical Engineers 2016 IChemE Top Reviewer Award (Elsevier)

7. Appointed member of National Education Policy Reform to study the existing national educational related policies and propose for improvement and new policies. Reported directly to the former Minister of Education, YBM Dr Maszlee Malik.
